This image pays tribute to Vince Carter’s record-setting 22 seasons in the NBA, and represents the mystique and mystery around his longevity. How can one play the game at such a high level for that many seasons? The secret elixir: love of the game. A consummate professional and class act, Carter has become an incredibly respected elder statesman for the game to players and fans everywhere. Nicknamed Vinsanity during his early playing days for his amazing feats of athleticism, Vince finally ended his incredible career in Atlanta with the Hawks— but delighted fans of all of the teams he played for and basketball fans around the world with his high-flying aerial acrobatics that seemed to defy gravity.
